Q. What ages are expected to attend the event?
A. We are planning a weekend for Jewish singles of ALL ages (21+), and certain events will have predetermined seating to ensure compatibility of attendees.
Q. How will you choose the predetermined seating and when will this be happening?
A. We will be sending out a detailed questionnaire to everyone who registers in advance for the conference, and we will be placing people at specific tables for the Friday night Shabbat dinner and our Saturday night social. This will hopefully ensure that attendees will have common interests and compatible traits with their table mates. Preregistration for all events is encouraged to ensure desired seating at these events.
Q. I live in Scottsdale. Do I need to stay at the hotel?
A. Hotel registration is NOT required for attending the conference; however, we do hope that you will stick around during the free time to mix and mingle with other Heart 2 Heart attendees. We do encourage local participants to stay at the hotel for one or more nights as we feel that the conference will be even more enjoyable that way.
Q. How do I book at room at the hotel for the weekend?
Q. How do I find out about getting a roommate?
A. If you are looking for a roommate, please send us an email at email@example.com with your request, and we will do our best to match you up with someone also looking to secure a roommate. We will send the two attendees an introduction email and it will be up to the attendees to book and secure the room. Please do this as soon as possible, so we can begin helping with these introductions.
Q. Will the food be kosher?
A. All of the food served over the weekend will be certified kosher by the Phoenix Vaad. If you have special dietary needs, we will do our best to accommodate these under the kosher guidelines.
Q. I’m not religious at all… is this event for me? I’m an observant Jew… is this event for me?
A. This weekend is open to Jewish singles of all observance levels. Whether you are just culturally Jewish or you are an observant Jew, we encourage you to join us during this exciting weekend.
Q. What will the weekend look like?
A. For the full schedule and information on the topics being discussed, click here.
Q. What if I only want to attend one session or event?
A. We are selling individual tickets to certain events, and you can purchase those advance tickets online on our registration page. For the learning sessions taking place throughout the day on Friday and on Saturday afternoon, we will also accept walk-ups for $10 per session. Click here for the full schedule.
Q. What is lounge time?
A. We are creating a lounge that will be open throughout most of the weekend for attendees to enjoy. It will be a place to relax, continue conversations, and even grab a snack.
Q. Will there be security?
Q. How can I make the most of this weekend?
A. The best advice we can give is to be open and not come with preconceived notions of what might happen. Our volunteer-based committee has been hard at work designing a weekend that will allow attendees to learn, grow, and connect.
Q. I'm in a relationship/married, but it looks really good, and I'd like to attend. May I?
A. Yes, you may. Pre-registered guests will be wearing color-specific lanyards indicating their availability for a relationship. We will have one color that will represent people in a relationship/married.
