While many licensed professionals, such as counselors and social workers, are trained to treat individuals, couples, and families, Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) are uniquely specialized in the complexities of relationships. Unlike some professionals who may obtain licensure without extensive experience working with couples or families, MFTs are required to complete the majority of their clinical hours in relational settings.
Humans are inherently social beings, and our relationships play a central role in our emotional and psychological well-being. MFTs focus on understanding these dynamics, helping individuals, couples, and families identify patterns, improve communication, and resolve conflicts. By addressing not just individual issues but also the interactions and connections that shape them, MFTs provide a deeper, more effective approach to therapy that promotes lasting growth and healthier relationships.
We believe in a holistic approach to counseling. We use evidence-based techniques to help you build a stronger, more resilient relationship.
